He made their list of EW’s list of TV’s Best Bitches and had this to say about fans asking him to bite them:
The actor says fans have asked him to bite various parts of their bodies. His response? “I generally just have to smile and politely decline because there are major problems associated with randomly biting people in the street,” he says. “One of them is legality. Another may be the fact that they’re extremely young and their 6?4? father’s standing there with a baseball bat. Or that they’re married. Or that my lovely and wonderful girlfriend is standing next to me going ‘Uh-uh, it ain’t gonna happen.’”
PW: Although you’re trying to stay true to the books, did you go in any directions even you didn’t expect so far this season?
Kevin: We borrowed a few tentpole moments from the book whereas we expanded upon the mythology in others. But we know where season one ends, I know the last sequence, I know the big moments of season two and the general arc, but we haven’t broken down the 22 episodes yet. What you ultimately plan on doing changes. If you read the books you know that we killed Coach Tanner in episode three when it happened at the Halloween haunt in the book because that’s where we killed Vicki, who did not die in the book.

JH:: What was it about the books that attracted you to it?
KW: I’m a sucker for epic love stories and it has sort of that epic love. Also, when I was reading the book once you get past the Twilight setup it really is its own monster, it’s own story and it takes a different path from the Twilight story and True Blood story. I thought it was a sexy Dark Shadows. I loved Dark Shadows as a kid and I’ve always wanted to do a show like that. I remember talking to the WB about Dark Shadows years ago and I thought it would be kind of fun.
OK! Weekly has an interview and Photo Shoot with Kayla Ewell.

What’s it like working with co-stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley?
They’re both so sexy! Every day I show up at work and think, “It’s not fair that you’re this hot!” They’re so charming in real life and each has a really engaging personality. Ian is gregarious, the life of the party and the one everybody gravitates toward; Paul is like a secretive, sexy, groovy vampire — he’s on the opposite end of the spectrum.
A couple of interviews for you with Katerina Graham. I just think this girl is just gorgeous. I know it has nothing to do with the interviews so here they are, LOL!!
First up Just Jared has an interview with her.

JJ: There seems to be a lot of females on the set and then there is Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. How do the guys fit in with the girls on set?
KG: Oh, they’re one of us, honey! (laughs) I’m just joking! I’ll play nice. No, they’re good. They do their own thing – they’re older than us, so they definitely have a different kind of energy. They have a more mature kind of vibe about them. The girls and I, we’re all around the same age, so we go to the movies together and we do things like that together and sometimes they come out with us, but Ian has his life and Paul has his own. But it’s great – they treat us with respect. They come in and do their job.
Next up she had a chat with MTV’s Hollywood Crush. She talks Stefan and Damon.

Here is an excerpt:
“Vampire Diaries” star Katerina Graham, who plays Bonnie, suffers the same vacillation in deciding which brother to direct her affection toward. Luckily, she has a simple solution: “You know what, I’d pick both of them,” she told Hollywood Crush recently. “Is that slutty? Not simultaneously! For different reasons.” Just to be clear: “Not simultaneously,” Kat reiterated, then laughed. “This is Hollywood Crush, we have to make it spicy!”
You’re character is still in the dark about the whole vampire thing…
He has no idea what’s going on. I honestly thought my character would be aware sooner, but they’re just drawing it out.
Do you think you’ll find out soon?
I would assume pretty soon. I haven’t read or been told anything specifically or definitely. But there have been a lot of things that have happened fast on the show.
What’s the Funniest Time a Fan Recognized You While On Vacation? How Did Everyone React?
Zach Roerig: During one vacation trip we stopped at a truck stop to refuel. I was alarmed to hear a deep voice shout “Casey Hughes!” (My character on As the World Turns at the time). At this point my fans were generally middle aged females, so i was a little shocked when it turned out that the voice belonged to a burly trucker who happened to be a big fan of the show.
