It was an amazing way to open up the new season!

I REALLY hope Damon and Elena get together a few seasons from now. Not because of just how Damon is the cooler one, but because he is in so much pain! Katherine is in love with Stephan AND so is Elena? Come on! Last night, Katherine admitted she NEVER even loved Damon! Let the guy finally learn to love and get a girl (preferably Elena or Bonnie)! Now Stephan. Very nice! I loved how a little bit of the dark side was revealed yesterday (you know the whole John moment in the hospital scene)! Oh, there is so much left to include, but I’ll leave some input for some upcoming fans (Team Damon!).
P.S- Is Caroline dead? She can’t be…

The episode was amazing!! I don’t think I can ever get enough Vampire Diaries.
I like the different attitude Nina Dobrev has while playing Katherine. She’s very talented to play such two different roles.
And I feel sorry for Damon. To have two girls tell him that it’s always been Stefan and never will be him… That hurts. During the whole episode I just wanted to hug him. I feel like its about time he needs someone.
I loved when people told Katherine off. Favorite parts. I actually cheered.
I like who Stefan and a sorta evil side. Like how he threatened John. It was like seeing a whole new guy. A part of him you’ve never seen before.
Jeremy… So glad he’s not a vampire or dead. My heart stopped when Damon snapped his neck. I was so relieved when Elena saw he had the ring on. Now that he knows everything will he be on the council?

I can’t believe Caroline is going to be a vampire. That’s going to be an interesting twist. I wonder what they’re going to do with that? And how Matt will react.
Well, I don’t think last night was the last we’re going to see of Uncle John. Thank god Jeremy got the ring from him before he left. I’m still not 100% sure who the death is that keeps getting talked about; I still don’t think it’s the mayor. And apparently, Caroline is going to be the newest vampire in town. I bet Katherine didn’t see that coming when she went after her in the hospital. I can’t wait for next week. Or for the episode where Tyler finds out about the family “legacy”.
I really liked this episode, although it was really sad. I am a huge Damon fan, and to see his pain, was horrible. I really hope later on in the season Elena, does relize she has feelings for him as much as she denys. And as for Katherine, I LOVE the charecter, and I think she is an amazing storyline. I do have the feeling though, that she is just playing a game with the brothers and does, or at least did have feelings for Damon.
As for Bonnie, she was really annoying me. I get that she is against vampires and all. But Damon saved her friend, and she still cant give him a break. I was actually pleasently surprised when Katherine taught her a lesson.
As for Caroline. I do NOT like this storyline at all, all I can think is this is going to be the vicky storyline all over.

I LOVED IT!! i Feel so bad for Damon! He has been searching for katherine the love of his life and shes here and he goes after her and then asks her if she has ever loved him. And she says it always been about stefan. and how damons falling for Elena. and Stefan has Elena and Katherine wants Stefan. Damon doesnt have anyone wanting him. And he feels unl0ved and hurt. even though he says hes not. and he acted out on elena and tried to kiss her. and shes trying to knock sense into him and then Kills Jeremy!!!!
Thats so lucky that Jeremy had john gilberts ring on. i was like so scared there for a second. and then they show the ring! and then elena goes i hate him stefan! i feel so bad! and now jeremy is going to be so depressed, vampire thing failed and Annas gone.and Damon tried to kill him.

OMG!!!!!! last nights episode was so amazing. I cant wait for next thursdays episode. I really hated damon for what he did to jermey and im so happy jermey had his fathers ring. Well it looks like caroline is the new vamp in town…..i really hope that she doesnt get killed in this next episode. I knew that as soon as katherine told caroline to give stefan and damon the message”game on” that she was planning on killing her to make her a vampire. I cant wait to see how or if carolines mother finds out and what she will do. When stefan told katherine off i was like yes….give her what she deserves. I dont want to see elena and damon get together. I feel bad for him that he got told by the two girls he loved that stefan was and will always be the one but damon just needs to find his own girl and quit going after the girls that stefan was with. I loved it when stefan took control and threatened john…he needed to be. I wonder if matt will find out the truth about the vampires now that his own girlfriend has become one. This episode was worth the wait over the summer and im so excited for next weeks episode. Team Stefan all the way!!!!

UGH! Why does Damon always get hurt!!!! It was so heart-breaking! He went crazy! Killing Jeremy?! Aw my poor Damon! Why is everyone want Stefan??? And the kiss!!! So unexpected!!!! And he was totally telling the truth! Elena knows she has feelings for him. She can’t hide it forever! And i got to say… Stefan kind of creeped me out. I guess i’m just not use to it, but still. Where the hell did that come from? How could he change so much in one night? (or you could say three months) I also thought Elena was kind of acting funny too. UGH! And Bonnie!! she irritated me!!! Who does she think she is? I was laughing when that witch thing didn’t work on Kat. She can’t just go around, thinking she can control everything. She better be happy Damon saved Caroline, on his own free will (but then again it was wasted due to the “Bitch”) i wish Damon would have listen to his won advise and stand away from Kat. Actually never mind he was trying too, it was her that came to him. Why would you want to play around with someones heart? She really screwed him up! And Elena didn’t help at all. So glad John in leaving. I actually like Uncle Mason, i didn’t think i would. I thought it was funny how aunt Jenna was looking at Damon in a funny way everytime she saw him.
But i LOVED it! Can’t wait until next thursday!! Caroline a Vampire!! Wow!

OMG its sooooooo obvious. if u c the preview 4 the next episode u c a blonde chic with blood on her face. umm hello? thats caroline. if u looked closely 4 the season premiere video u c a blonde vampire that looks alot like caroline! bonnie spoled the secret about damon healing caroline when they were giving theyre goodbyes and thank yous for tyler. when he acted like that and the mayor and tyler heard the noise last season, they r definetly wereolves. that has 2 be the curse (just 2 let u know i didnt read any books.) i really think katherine will be hanging out 4 the whole season and force jeremy 2 be changed in the 3rd. i know the 2nd season just started but i cant wait 2 c the rest of 2 and 3! i litterally cant stop smiling about how gr8 that was. we had a whole discussion about it at our lunch table! it might be hard 4 some people 2 c whats going 2 happen but not 4 me and the other brainiacs. no offense 2 the people who cant c it coming. i cried 4 most of it. i cant believe elena pretty much said the words katherine did. ” i love stefan, it was always stefan and it always will be.” i luv Damon.. he is soooooo hot i cont even tell u how much he is hot. more like a god!

I absolutley loved it!!! I agree i felt really bad for Damon especially when Katherine told him she had never loved him and it had always been Stefan, but he shouldn’t have made Elena kiss him and he shouldn’t have killed Jeremy, I was sooooo mad when he killed Jeremy I understand he was upset but he didn’t have to kill an innocent person. I was so relieved when Elena saw that Jeremy had Uncle John’s ring and when he woke up I cried again.I am soooo glad that Uncle John left. I HATED Katherine she is an evil Jerk I was soo happy when Stefan told her off I loved Stefan’s attitude in this episode so different from his usual self it was really good to see a different bad side of him. I can’t wait for the next episode to see if Caroline lives through the next episode, i can’t believe Katherine killed her I didn’t cry but I was mad. I think that Damon needs to quit chasing after Elena I mean i believe she cares about him but she loves Stefan and I think it should stay that way. I loved it when she said she hated Damon she had every right to hate him he killed her little brother just because he was upset I hope she works it out with him but I don’t think they should be together Stefan and Elena should can’t wait for the next episode. I cried a little like I got teary eyed when damon killed Jeremy.. omg i was so sad until I saw the ring!!! then I was like relieved..i was like omg!!! not this MAIN character!! i dont want you to die!!! then when stupid katherine had to come in and kill caroline i was pissed!! and sad… i mean i didnt like caroline in the beginning but over the episodes i started to like her a little more and then i kind of loved her because she became sooo nice… then i kind of cried when she was killed…i CANNOT wait for the next episode!!!

One thing, Caroline IS going to live. She is just going to be a vampire because on the summary for the second episode, it says that she is behaving weirdly. I knew from the minute they said the person who was going to get turned into a vampire was going to be unexpected, that it was Caroline. Plus, even though I’m Team Stefan, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Damon. Then again he did bring this all on by himself. I do have to admit that I would like to see how Damon and Elena are like together, but I wouldn’t want it to be long-term because I would miss her and Stefan together way too much. Great, GREAT episode!!!!!
Damon and Elena all the way. They have the most incredible chemistry and their scenes together are just spectacular. Even though it looks bad at the moment I’m betting this is just the beginning of a very hot triangle. Elena can’t resist him and as much as he wants to push her away and make her hate him to keep her away, and shut down his feelings, it won’t work. What they have is that deep.

Really don’t like Bonnie anymore -she’s become such a hypocrite using Damon to save Caroline to assuage her own guilt. LOL karma’s a bitch baby and Caroline becoming the thing she hates most should be interesting.
I actually liked Stefan in this one when he gave John hell and when he was worried about Damon.
I really wanted to hate Katherine but I enjoyed her too much.’sweet innocent Damon’ yes he used to be and that is still buried deep inside of him in a place where he can’t get hurt. Poor Damon.
Love the DELENA angst, its going to be an incredible journey.
OMG!!! Ican’t believe that I missed last nights episode. I just watched it on ch131.com just now and i can’t wait for next week!! I love Stefan the most but Damon just looks so sad and lonely that you can’t help nut feel sorry for him, until he tried to kill Jeremy and then all bets are off!!
I am stunned and chocked. It was an AMAZING episode. I can’t believe how cool Kathrine is! She’s almost my favourite vamp (after STEFAN!). Nina Dobrev does a great job and I love the “new” Stefan, the little more dangerous Stefan. It also shows how great actors the series has. And for the first time I feel sorry for Damon. I’m not a huge fan of his but this time I felt bad for him when Kathrine said she never had loved him. But when Elena said the same thing I was just glad, in a way. I thought she was going to kiss him but she didn’t (Thank god)
I was 100 % sure Jeremy was dead but he wasn’t thanks to Uncle John. BIG RELIEF!
And I think Bonnie is going to be better in this season than in the last. She’s stronger now, so the vampires have to watch their backs. Accept for Kathrine, she seems to be immune to Bonnie’s powers.
I can’t wait until next episode and what will happen to Caroline?

I feel so bad for damon. yaya i know hes evil but u know what? he was FINALLY changing, and he did it for elena! Finally he was feeling something, than that stupid slut Kathrine comes back. URGGG! i cant wait for NEXT WEEK!!!

But considering how the last girlfriend was turned into a vampire, I don’t see this one going in a different direction. It really wouldn’t surprise me if Caroline turned up dead next episode. 
And it’s sad because even though she was a bit rude sometimes, I think Caroline was the only REALLY human character. Maybe they’ll make her flee the town or something. I hope for the best because I love Candice Accola. 
My favorite part was when Damon realized that it was Katherine that he kissed. His expression was priceless.
And oh my gosh poor Damon. All he has left is the little scrap of love that his brother has. (Besides mine.
I also loved that Uncle John didn’t die because that leaves open a lot of roads for the show, and Katherine, although shes’ evil and manipulative, I have to say was pretty awesome. Isn’t there always an awesome evil character you just love to hate? Nina did a fantastic job playing her.
But the only thing I can’t understand is why they would turn Caroline into a vampire. (I probably jinxed it because some time during last season someone asked me who you think would be a cool vampire. Ad of course I replied, “I wouldn’t like it, but I think it would be interesting to see Caroline as a vamp.”) But I just hope they know what they’re doing because its permanent.
I also thought of something else though. If Bonnie get’s angry at the vampires again or mad at Damon or Stefan for Caroline being hurt or turned into vampire,I’m telling you, she has no one to blame but herself. SHE was the one who didn’t turn the device OFF, that made the sound the Tyler heard, causing the car crash that put Caroline in the hospital. I’m not saying I hate her character(she’s actually one of may favorites) and I want her to blame herself, but she just keeps blaming everyone around her. One thing I do hope for Bonnie though she is that she beats Katherine with a huge spell or something along those lines. She’s definitely stronger than before.
AND WHEN JEREMY DIED! I was like NOO! And literally started choking when I saw the ring.
This was just a suspense packed episode. Can’t wait to see what comes next week.

I loved the episode. Great start to the second season. I did feel like it was a bit jumpy though. Like they kept jumping from character to character and it didn’t flow as much as it did in the other episodes.
As for Katherine… Yeah, I have no words for her. I hate her so much for what she did to Stefan and Damon. I wish she would die already. But then I also kinda like her. Her bitchiness and sweet little innocent act. I think because it reminds me of myself. No, I don’t toy with boys or going around killing people. But I hope you understand what I’m trying to say there. I wonder how they’re going to keep going with her. Like how they’re going to keep her around without anybody killing her.
I felt sooo bad for Damon. To have two girls tell him that it’s always been and always will be Stefan. That’s just heartbreaking. Even though he tries not to show it much you can tell just how broken he is.
Still I don’t forgive him for almost killing Jeremy. My heart stopped at that point. I wa so so so relieved when Elena saw the ring. I think it’s finally time for Jeremy’s life to really turn around. And not have every girl he loves die.
I loved the new portrayal of Stefan. He was BA. Loved when he threatened John. Although it was a bit weird to go through such a personality change in one night.
As for Elena, I know she has feelings for Damon. You can just see it. That being said I still want her with Stefan. It’s Stefan and Elena forever.
Caroline as a vampire is going to be an interesting twist. And how is Damon not going to kill her? And if he does it’s just Vicky all over again. I wonder if Caroline will ever go home. If her mother sees her as a vampire will she stake her?
And Tyler. I want to see his face when he finds out the family secret. I’m sure it will be priceless. I like Uncle Mason. I’m sure they’re going to get along well.

Well. I doubt that she never loved Damon. Maybe she didn’t love either of them, I mean you don’t STAB somebody if you love them. This is what Katherine wants, she wants Damon and Stefan to hate each other!!! I read the book series, and if what happens in the second one happens hear, then that would be shocking!!!
Damon trying to kill Jeremy and kissing Elena was so NOT about Elena, it was about getting back at Katherine. That’s all he’s been about, and when Elena knocked him back, he goes and turns into the heartless coldblooded killer he was in S1. ARRRGGGHH!
Srsly. The slow redemption he was getting, just got killed with his immature tantrum. This is why Elena will always choose Stefan.
Oh, and Stefan with a backbone makes me want to do very naughty things.
But onto the real story… BONNIE!!!!!!!!!!!! Can I tell you how in love with her I was in this episode? So much backbone, SO much. With Katherine too – no fear, no backing down. Changing the battleground with her courage and tenacity.
BAMON were on fire tonight!!. The snarky sharp witted banter, their intimacy facing off, the challenge, primal and undenialable chemistry SIZZLING every time they were close. Wow! oh so hot Bennett witch jedi-mind meld was freakin’ awesome!
Ian said that Bonnie is a contender, and Damon considers her the kind of trouble that could put him on the floor. darn straight! 
But first he needs to sort this Katherine thing out, grow up and realize what real love could be. And that isn’t with anyone who looks like Kat, ’cause it just sets him on a path of destruction. Someone who will not take his BS, and once she gets over the vamphate, isn’t Stefans destiny like Elena is. Eventually – TEAM BAMON!
