A New episode of The Vampire Diaries Tonight – History Repeating
A new episode of The Vampire Diaries will be on the CW Network tonight at 8 pm. The episode is called History Repeating.
Here is a synopsis of the episode from the CW:
Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) gets a break from the mysterious new history teacher, Alaric Saltzman (guest star Matt Davis, ‘Legally Blonde’) and introduces Alaric to Jenna (Sara Canning). Bonnie (Katerina Graham) is having terrifying dreams about one of her ancestors. Despite Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) efforts to smooth things over, Bonnie and Caroline (Candice Accola) continue to argue over the medallion. When the girls hold a seance to help them decide what to do, the results are stranger than any of them expected. Matt (Zach Roerig) comes to Caroline’s aid when she needs a friend. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) finally reveals to Stefan (Paul Wesley) the stunning reason he has returned to Mystic Falls.
Below is a trailer for the episode:
So last night we met Alaric. Are they hinting that he’s also a Vampire (his “family ring” and not entering the Gilbert’s house because he wasn’t invited in?) because if they turn Alaric into a vampire I’ll be really angry. Or could he be the one that they will make into a werewolf since they have hinted that the werewolf will not be who it was in the book (Tyler)?
AND!! Now it’s Stefan’s turn to do the whole “I need you” / “stay away from me” thing. Last night’s ending was so New Moon if you ask me.
I thought it was a great episode with awesome dialogue and character interactions, like when Bonnie tries to explain to Caroline that she doesn’t let her in on everything because she never listens, and all the back and forth between Damon and Stefan.
Also I thought this episode had great music – loved hearing Pablo Sebastian’s “Lies” during the scene when Bonnie and Elena are in the car and then Bonnie throws away the crystal, as well as Great Northern’s “Houses” which played when Jenna and Alaric talk at the Mystic Grill.
