The Vampire Diaries’ flashback-filled May 10 season finale will introduce us to Elena’s parents — and then kill ‘em off. “One of the things we want to do in the finale is explore a time for Elena when life was simpler,” says executive producer Julie Plec. “She had parents and no vampires in her life.”

okay I noticed that in season 1 there are photos of Elena’s adoptive parents around her house, my question is why didn’t they use the same people from the photos to play her parents? why choose completely different people at all?

i agree with u samantha… but i hope they show the part where stefan saves her…..
