Just from knowing what we know about how TV shows work—like how networks don’t let producers kill off lead male characters—we’re gonna go ahead and say…no, Damon will not die from the werewolf bite.

We will say that because Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is going crazy over his werewolf bite, he is capable of doing anything and saying anything. All bets are off and anything can happen when an off-his-rocker vampire is on the loose!

I knew he wasn’t going to die, and I believe he is going to confess his love for her and I believe she will admit how she feels for him. Just like in the book when she thinks he’s dieing she is going to tell him she loves him. OK This is what I hope will happen but we will have to wait and see. I was right one time before about Klaus and Elijah being brothers so maybe I’m right again about this too. I don’t want this to be the finale. I’m going to go crazy until season 3 comes back on.

I agree with classifed7224. I think Elena will FREAK OUT about how Damon is dying and when he gets to the peak of the worst part of the werewolf bite she’ll grow a pair of balls and tell him how she feels. And he will too. He’ll pass out, Elena will think he’s dead, Stefan will come with the cure and Tada! Here’ssss Damon! ;D

teamsalvatore2k10 is right in my opinion. but Elena cares about him and i think she loves him in a kind of brotherly way.
BUT WE CAN NOT EXPECT ANYTHING BUT THE UNEXPECTED. and besides i will cry for hours if Damon dies, buuuuut he will deffo come back in season 3…… me thinks at least lol x
