‘The Vampire Diaries’: Why is Elena crying in Stefan’s arms at the decade dance?
‘The Vampire Diaries’: Damon and Elena have a major motel moment
Spoiler via E! Online:
BridgetteNELL: Can you tell us anything about why Elena is crying on Stefan’s shoulder in photos from the decade dance episode?
I don’t know, but this show’s Decade Dances tend to have a high mortality rate!
Michelle S.: Vampire Diaries! I need to know if my favorite girl Caroline is going to make it to season four.
“I can’t tell you!” Candice Accola told us when we bugged her with that very same question. “[Filming] ended with a very big bang so I think all of the viewer should be very excited for the finale this year.” A “bang,” you say? Interesting choice of words, Ms. Accola. Fireworks? Gunshots? Explosions? Fireworks that shoots bullets as the vampires explode? The possibilities are endless.

“The Vampire Diaries”:
This fandom is already pretty divided, but Joseph Morgan tells us that after the season finale, even more lines will be drawn in the sand. “The last twenty seconds of the episode will leave people with their hearts in their mouths,” he tells us. How’s that for a turn of phrase? “You’re going to be desperately wishing to fast forward and be on to the first episode of Season 4, because it’s hugely dramatic. There’s a lot of shock value, and it’s going to change the world of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ forever. You should be scared! I think not everyone’s going to like it; it’s going to provoke some strong opinions. It’s really going to get people talking, and that’s what we want.”
Synopsis via kSite TV:
A DAY WITHOUT A VAMPIRE —
Klaus acts on his intentions to leave town with Elena (Nina Dobrev), but finds resistance from a surprising new enemy. Bonnie (Kat Graham) calls on Abby (guest star Persia White) to help her with a difficult spell. As events spiral out of control, Elena is determined to protect Caroline (Candice Accola), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) enlist Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) help, while Bonnie and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) take a terrifying risk to make sure her spell is effective. Damon and Stefan have a surprisingly candid conversation about the future.

‘Vampire Diaries’ Scoop: Tyler & Caroline’s ‘Hot’ Reunion Revealed
Spoiler via E! Online:
DamonStan: Is there anything to look forward to for Delena fans in the last episodes of the season? #TVD
Why don’t we just let the eternal stud himself, Ian Somerhalder (duh!), answer this one? “I think that Elena is extremely confused, but she’s being very honest about it. She’s extremely honest about her feelings for Damon and she’s extremely honest about her feelings for Stefan,” he tells us while promoting his foundation’s upcoming Earth Day initiative, Clean Up Where You Live, Work & Play. “I think that her seeking out the way she feels about either one of them, where her heart ultimately needs to be and how it all works is going to make for some really good story telling. I know that the season finale, the relationship between the two of them, you see how much Damon cares about her.” Translation: expect some Delena goodness in the finale!

When is Esther returning to The Vampire Diaries? —Crystal
NATALIE: She’ll return in next week’s new episode still hell-bent on killing her children. Look for an intensely emotional scene between Esther and Rebekah, in which Mama Original explains why she feels her kids should no longer “live.”

Spoiler via TV Line:
Question: The CW’s most recent poll saw 85% of Vampire Diaries fans rooting for Damon and Elena. Please give us some hope — after three seasons it’s getting a bit painful. —Dakota
Ausiello: Don’t miss the April 19 episode. Trust me. (BTW, you better not be lying about those poll numbers; I was about to double-check those results, but then I realized fact-checking is a little beneath me at this stage of my career.)
