Some Vampire Diaries Scoop from FanCast:
You said the first season DVD of ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ was being worked on right now. Do you know if the show is also being released on Blu-ray? – Matt
Yep, Elena and the boys are bound for Blu-ray as well, so all that pretty will be even prettier.
I’m confused about something on ‘Vampire Diaries.’ Noah the pizza delivery guy/Elena’s crazed stalker mentioned that he was one of Katherine’s lovers and had some connection to the Salvatore brothers, but didn’t explain it further. Will they address that in an upcoming episode? – Lori
Nope, Noah’s story (like so many on ‘TVD,’ when someone agitates a Salvatore) hit a very dead end. I can clarify this: Noah knew Damon, Stefan and Katherine “back in the day,” but he was not one of the vampires trapped in the tomb. Also, he never claimed to be one of Katherine’s lovers; he only said that Elena reminded him of Katherine. (Dude, it’s the same actress. Duh.)
Care to “slay me” with some ‘Vampire Diaries‘ scoop? – Viv
Whisper sweet puns in my ear, and I’m all yours. Toward the end of the season, we’re going to see just how angry some of the entombed vampires are, and how at least one of them plans to exact revenge on Stefan.
A little Diaries Spoilers from the EW:
SPOILERS
Question: Are we ever going to see more of Vampire Diaries‘ werewolf, Tyler? He’s been surprisingly absent since that foreboding full moon. —Marz
Ausiello: “I think it is more interesting to keep [his inner werewolf] hidden or suppressed,” says exec producer Kevin Williamson, “and instead play out his aggression and daddy issues and things that are associated with a wolf without making him a wolf.” The werewolf card will eventually be played because “wherever there are vampires, there are usually wolves nearby,” notes Williamson. “My biggest concern is what the weekly special effect is going to look like. That takes careful preparation and a lot of money and some testing. We’re working on it now to figure out what we can do that won’t just look stupid. And they have to still be sexy — because, let’s face it, we cast these beautiful people for a reason.”
Question: I need Vampire Diaries scoop, please! —Vanessa
Ausiello: Ian Somerhalder predicts that Team Damon will experience a surge in popularity as the season winds down. “I think we are going to find out more about Stefan that might make fans switch teams,” he says. “He isn’t all goodie-two-shoes hero-boy.”

This little scoop from E!
SPOILERS
Are we going to see Katherine on The Vampire Diaries anytime soon?
Those damn tomb vampires are going to keep infiltrating Mystic Falls and with Katherine out of the loop, Kelly Hu’s Pearl is in control and is playing hardball with Damon. Either he quits supplying the town’s anti-vamp council with vervain and joins her revolution or she won’t lead him to the woman he claims to no longer love—which, for the record, we all know he still does.

The EW had the following Diaries scoop:
SPOILERS
Question: Does The Vampire Diaries have plans to resurrect Vicki? I’m hearing conflicting things. —George
Ausiello: The truth is right here: “We are not averse to bringing people back from the dead,” says exec producer Julie Plec, “but we would not do it with the first tragic death out of the gate. In the future, we absolutely will use those mystic tricks, but not with Vicki — as much as we loved Kayla [Ewell]. It would ruin the impact.”
Question: Enough of The Vampire Diaries. Got any scoop on True Blood that can hold me over till June? —Brittany
Ausiello: More Vampire Diaries scoop it is! Exec producer Kevin Williamson teases that the season is “building to the Founder’s Day Celebration. That will be our last episode of the season. We will bring that historical storyline somewhat to a close and at the same time, we will start the next chapter. We will involve some of the town council and we will also take it to the next level.”

SPOILERS
Did Damon really kill Elena’s birth mother on The Vampire Diaries? I can’t help but feel like there’s more to this story. — Taryn
MICKEY: Well, yeah. When Diaries returns on March 25, we’ll learn once and for all who killed Isobel, and why. But you might be more interested in another shocking murder that takes place this spring. Don’t grieve too much for the victim; he or she will be miraculously brought back to life shortly thereafter. (For the record, we aren’t talking about a vampire “turning” here — he or she will really be alive again.)

SPOILERS
All three of Jerry’s exes pop up in Melinda’s first episode, titled “A Few Good Men,” in which Sheriff Forbes asks Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to participate in a bachelor auction officiated by Mrs. Lockwood. Beyond that, executive producer Julie Plec says that Matt’s mess of a mom will interfere in his relationship with Caroline, while Caroline’s mother will reveal to Damon why Alaric Saltzman really came to town. As for Tyler’s cougar mom, she’ll cope with her husband’s infidelity by trying to sink her claws into Damon.

A little scoop from the EW
SPOILERS
Question: I am dying here without Vampire Diaries! Please give us some scoop on the Damon-Elena relationship because I am loving it! —Ash
Ausiello: Then prepare to love this season’s final string of episodes, which exec producer Julie Plec tells me will be heavily focused on the pair. “We’ll see Damon start to look at Elena as more than just his brother’s girlfriend or the doppelganger to the love of his life,” she reveals. “He’ll start to love and understand her as a human being, which is ironic because Damon could typically give a s–t about anything involving humanity. It’s some good stuff.”
