Synopsis:
STEFAN FACES A NEW DANGER — Elena, Damon and Alaric take a road trip to Duke University and search through Isobel’s research on folklore and paranormal phenomena to see if they can uncover any clues to the mystery surrounding the Lockwood family. Isobel’s former student, Vanessa, offers to guide them through the research and ends up getting quite an education herself. Stefan comes face to face with a terrifying new danger in the woods, and Tyler makes a shocking discovery about Mason.

SO excited! If Elena starts getting chummy with him after all he’s done, especially to Bonnie, Caroline and now her brother – I’ll lose all respect for her. Make him pay!!

I LIKED THIS EPISODE with warewolfs and everything i kind of got scared

tonight’s episode was amzing! i feel very sorry for matt and caroline!
so sweet!
but i don’t know what to think about elena! i’m very proud of her that she doesn’t give in to damon to easiliy, but she must know that she can’t stay mad at him for too long! i mean he’s her best friend after all, beside bonnie, which is a bitch in the last time! damon’s right she’s a lot more like kathrine than they thought!
and damon was so hot again! and sweet! how he jump in the middle when vanessa tried to kill elena!
and the lockwoods? i really hope that it will work out well, but sure there will be a lot of problems with them!
i can’t wait for next episode when kathrine and elena finally met! it must be strange to look at someone who looks exatly like you!
so i think that was enough talking for today!

HotDamon; Damon didn’t know about the fricken ring, and you want Elena to what? Kiss and make up after he KILLED her brother? Are you kidding me?! Soon as she found out about him not knowing about the ring, she should’ve cut him off at the knees. Bestfriends? If Elena has any dignity, respect or loyalty for those he’s abused, manipulated, viciously attacked and killed – that actually ARE her bestfriends, then he was never her best-anything.
I’d rather Bonnie and Elena be a bitch than see them being his doormat. Just saying.
Mason is HOTNESS covered in dirt or not. Just love the Lockwoods can kill with one bite. lol. Oh, and Bonnie in that summer dress was GORGEOUS! Caroline needs to be more grateful, and less rude to the one who trusts her with the daywalker ring. “Thankyou” would be nice. Sheesh. Stefan and Caroline.. WIN! *glee* Did anyone notice how much like Lexi she was to his brooding self? He was grinning like a loon, and guh.. I ship Stefan with everyone. Soooo very hot!

Wahinetoa: I totally agree with you Elena shouldn’t forgive Damon after all he’s done to her he’s abused her friend Caroline not to mention used her and bit her countless times for his own satisfication. He’s tried to manipulate Bonnie to no avail and then bit her when he didn’t get what he wanted. An then he killed Elena’s brother Jeremy just because he was mad plus he admitted he didnt even know about the ring before he killed him. I’m proud of Elena standing up for herself she shouldn’t have to forgive him just because he wants to be her friend and helped her get something about Katherine, because he’s not sorry for anything that he’s ever done to hurt the people that Elena loves. And yes I did notice how much of a similiatry there is to Lexi when Stefan was with Caroline. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! can’t wait for next week. Team stefan and Elena Forever!!!!!!!!

the episode was amazing!!!!the werewolf was cute!!it was so little!he looks like my dog lol!!they should’ve made the werewolves bigger like the ones in twilight!! i am glad matt didn’t die!!it was sooo awful when caroline bit matt!!and she’s kinda mean!!i missed bonnie in the episode !!!she had like what 8 lines!!!i really want to know whats in the book that damon gave to elena!!!and when damon said that katherine and elena have more in common than the look alike i was like ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but damon doesn’t deserve forgiveness he killed elena’s freakin brother and he didn’t see the ring!!i would’ve slap damon in the face!!and stefan is soooooo sweet!!!i love him!!and go jenna and alaric!!!they’re back together!!whoot whoot!!!!and i really really missed jeremy!!!!!!he wasn’t in the episode at all!!!!and mason!!!!!!!whoooooooo!!!!!he is sooooo fricken hot!!!!i have never seen a uncle that hot!!!!!!!!!and when does tyler finally become a werewolf!!he will make a hot werewolf too!!!!! go tvd!!!!

@Wahinetoa: i didn’t mean that she should give in in the next few episodes, damon did a lot of bad things and killing elenas brother is probably the badest! but: like they said in the series: they have a bonding! think of it from another point: if stefan killed jeremy without seeing the ring, she would be angry at him for a very long time, but do you think she wouldn’t give after that long long time? i think she would! and damon is the bad brother, everyone noticed that, but he is still good! he just was hurt by kathrine and elena and his way of working his hurt out is doing bad things! that doesn’t mean i am glad he killed jeremy but i can understand him at some points! and he was glad afterwards that jeremy did have the ring on! so he felt regret which he doesn’t felt before! I really hope that was understandable!
and by the way: i am totally team damon, so whatever he’ll do, i’m probably always on his side!

HotDamon: I probably was a little harsh – Damon isn’t without redemption. But the next few episodes, wouldn’t be right if she forgave him or even thought about it till end of season where he proves himself by a huge sacrifice. Not for her, but for his brother – which shows he can give a darn about someone that he isn’t trying to mack on. Snack on. Or crack on.
Thing is, Stefan wouldn’t kill Jeremy because that’s not who he is. But if he went all blood lusty again, I dunno.. I think she would be very devastated. Cut him out of her life for a long while. But ultimately, Stefan is still a good man. He’s proven that to often enough. Elena will eventually forgive.. might be a too strong word.. she may find herself less angry about it, but she’ll never forget or be able to trust him like she had before. Nor should she. Damon can change, that much is clear. It would go a long way if he tried respecting Stefan and Elenas relationship, it would go a long way to making him the man she wanted to fight to save. I like Damon too!
For sure, they’re all gonna need each other to survive Katherine.

I got the feeling that Carolyne purposely came off jealous and dramatic the second time that girl was flirting with Matt, so that Matt would dump her. Rather than Carolyne breaking up with Matt because she knew Matt would have a harder time with that, she got Matt to dump her because she knew she could no longer be with him.
