Most people in Mystic Falls are either vampires or they become a vampire meal. Which are you?
I can’t say, but I can tell you my role was really fun to play.

What do you think it is about vampires that’s so damn sexy?
I think it’s the fantasy of it all. Living at night, being immortal — it’s very intriguing and seductive too. Wouldn’t you say?

The EW has the scoop on a new member joining the cast. His name is Sean Faris.

Here is the scoop on his character from EW:

Faris will play Ben, an ex-high school football star-turned-bartender at the Mystic Grill. “He’s Matt’s buddy,” says a Vampire insider. “He gets entangled in the group when a broke Matt takes a job at the Mystic Grill.”

The Vamp source also hints at a possible romance between Ben and one of the show’s females.
