Vampire-Diaries Net had this new ad poster. We have seen it before just with new wording.
The Futon Critic has a press release up for November sweeps for the CW Network and episode 9 and 10 title and summaries were listed. They are below.

Episode 9
“History Repeating”
A mysterious new history teacher, Alaric Saltzman (guest star Matt Davis, “Legally Blonde”) arrives at the high school. When Elena (Nina Dobrev), Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Caroline (Candice Accola) hold a sance, the results are stranger than any of them expected. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) finally reveals to Stefan (Paul Wesley) the stunning reason he has returned to Mystic Falls.
Episode 10
“The Turning Point”
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) discover they have some competition to deal with, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a devastating discovery.
