Malese said playing a dangerous character has been fun, and she loves the fact that Anna’s wit and intelligence match Damon’s. “Don’t judge a book by its cover. Don’t assume that just because I’m five-foot-four I can’t kick some butt. It’s awesome, getting to play kind of a badass. I think that’s great. I think it’s time for the females to be a little threatening to people.”
Malese Jow joins cast
According to TV Guide Actress Malese Jow has joined the cast of The Vampire Diaries.
Here is what they say:
“She comes on as Jeremy’s smart new friend, Anna,” series creator Kevin Williamson tells me.
Hmm…just a ‘friend’? Couldn’t Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) use a friend with benefits now that his love, Vicki (Kayla Ewell), was staked through the heart by Stefan? “We’ll see how it goes,” teases Williamson. “Jeremy certainly turns her head. She gets a crush. It starts in one place and maybe ends someplace else.”
Also expect this duo to uncover a mystery.
I hope it becomes more. Jeremy could use some happiness in his life, poor kid!!
