Ian Somerhalder Interview
Check out the article at TV Guide.
This in from E!:
@bamalama86 (via Twitter): Does Matt get any more screen time on The Vampire Diaries? He’s my fave character and I’m sad he only gets 15 seconds an ep, if I’m lucky!
Well, your luck is changing! I’m told Matt will be involved in the Caroline and Tyler story, so you will see more of him coming up.
Fanbolt visited the set of The Vampire Diaries and interviewed the cast. Excerpts from the interviews are included in the article and full interviews will be coming soon.

Steven McQueen [Jeremy Gilbert]
Steven and Candice arrived. I chatted with Steven first, opening with the most submitted question by the fans, ‘What can you tell us about Jeremy and Bonnie?’
Steven smiled and said, “The Jeremy and Bonnie storyline was very unexpected. When it started out, Kat and I were like ‘What?’, we just really didn’t see it. Then we did a couple scenes and the chemistry really came across on screen, and we were excited from that point on.”
“It has to be kind of slow and drawn out, because you know I’m her best friend’s little brother.” Steven revealed in reply to what’s coming up for the two.
I also asked him about what he thought about the possibility of Damon and Bonnie hooking up in the future as they did in the books. “Screw that.” Steven laughed, “I hope it doesn’t happen. I’ve really enjoyed our storyline, and I hope it continues along that path.”
PopWrap has an interview with Kevin Williamson.

PopWrap:
First of all, I have to commend you on Tyler’s transformation. I genuinely felt his pain.
Kevin Williamson:
We had always come at this knowing it would be a very, very painful process. That’s why we added the tape last week – so he learned how much agony he was in store for. I mean, it’s a brutal, excruciating five hours.

The Futon Critic has an interview with Julie Plec, Candice Accola and Michael Trevino.
Check it all out here.
Here is an excerpt:
Jim Halterman: Julie, with the changes for Caroline and Tyler, the addition of the evil Katherine and other new characters, can you talk about making those changes and not shaking things up too much?
Julie Plec: Instinctively, we really believed that turning Caroline into a vampire was a good move and it could have been a good move that people didn’t like but as storytellers we just knew that it was a great move for her character. Tyler, we always knew this was his journey. It just took us a season before we could get it started. Michael is wonderful. He’s smart, he’s committed, he’s passionate about this role and the work he has to do to really deliver and it’s really been a pleasure to give him storylines this year where he can show off his skills.

But job security aside, a vampire can’t resist at least a little teasing nibble: “There’s a big werewolf aspect coming to the show, which I think is going to be a really big deal. They’re bringing in supporting characters. There are a lot of sort of supporting cast coming in and guest stars that are going to be pretty pivotal.”
The EW has an interview with Nina Dobrev. She talks tonight’s episode.

Here is an excerpt: SPOILERS
“First, Jeremy getting trapped in the tomb was like, Katherine wins! When Stefan came in, she’s like, ‘Wow, I couldn’t have planned this better if I tried. The one person I want to be stuck with, here he is, and now he’s got nowhere to go. I will seduce him, I will tease him, I will anger him.’ The line between love and hate truly is very, very thin,” Dobrev says. “So she has a chance to egg him on, and he can’t do anything about it. He has no choice but to listen, and yeah, it is a very kind of sexy, manipulative scene, and he gives in. It’s pretty crazy.” But is it real? “It’s pretty crazy,” she says again, coyly.

Here is an excerpt:
What can he tell us about the Salvatore Brothers’ relationship in this episode? ”Stefan is locked in that cave. In all actuality, it’s kind of what Damon’s been dreaming about. But truthfully, Damon wants to get his brother out of there. He’s gonna try really hard, once he works out what he needs to work out. As much as he wants to kill his brother sometimes, he loves him. Damon can’t imagine being stuck in that cave with Katherine. That would just suck. There’s such a commonality of pain between these two guys. They’re in love with the same two women. Two of them — it’s absurd. [Laughs] And the protagonists that have come to town, they mean business. They’re gonna wreak some havoc, and they’re gonna cause some problems for us, that’s for sure.”
