so i love TWilight, and i came along this show..and know im TEAM DAMON all the way… its so amazing..and nothing like Twilight =, know im reading the books and the are amazing…. i really hope its Damon, Elena hit, it would give the tv show the oppertuniti to explore their relathionship..

I think the guy that caused Elena’s car accident is the guy who changed Katherine – I can’t remember his name, wasn’t is like Ivan or something? It was a Nordic name if I remember correctly.

I don’t think that it is Katherine as she is in the tomb with the other vampires that Bonnie’s ancestor trapped. But Logan did say that Damon wasn’t the only one who wanted Katherine released – So I’m thinking it’s him….. can anyone remember his name?

O-M-G!! I just watched this episode (courtesy of iTunes) and O-M-G!!!! The ending freaked me out!!! It was like the person in the street was waiting for her! The filming and special effects are so “movie quality” with this show! The car collision at the end was so realistic! And when you see Elena smashing her head off the windshield O-M-G!! I’m so scared to find out who the mystery person is. At first, I thought it was Damon since he was in the woods, but now I think it was someone else!

Also @ Elena-tv VS Elena-book characters, I think the writers wanted to separate themselves from the Bella/Edward relationship. Even though VD was written long before Twilight, Twilight has become this whole mainstream culture phenomenon and viewers will identify and make comparisons between the two. Although I haven’t read the VD books, I’m really enjoying what they’re doing with the tv show!

It took me a few episodes to start liking Damon, but now that he’s kinda being a good guy, I like him more. Oh! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Alaric!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he becomes a permanent character! I can’t get enough of Matt Davis! ^_^!!

OMG i think that the person who changed logan and who stood infrount of Elenas truck is the same person
the person i think it is is KATHRINE!!!!!
i say that because logan got killed by the cemetary and neither damon of stefan changed him so kathrine there and it is like the books but it happened later when kathrine tries to kill Elena because stefan and damon love elena
Elena is getting me mad!!!! just love stefan and be done with it. He loved you first because u resembeld kathrine but now there is a whole different reason he sees soo much difference in you and kathrine that he loves you and doesnt see you as kathrine anymore.
Elena and Stefan will be together in the end and relize they love eachother.
STEFAN AND ELENA FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!!!!!

They should had made the tv show a lot more like the books…because yall are right about Elena, there is a big difference between her character in the show then the character in the book…Why can’t the directors make it where Elena and Stefan staying together. Instead they make it where they keep changing the mind about everything…soo annoying

I liked last night’s episode!! I still love Damon. I look forward to Damon every week – and not just because Ian is HAWT but because the writers give him THE best lines.

Last night when he and Stefan were talking and Damon asked Stefan where they were going – “we can travel the world, be on The Amazing Race”… that was awesome!!!

I had a feeling that Elena was going to snoop once Stefan left the room, but I didn’t think she was going to take off. I’m not sure I like the direction they have taken with Elena compared to her character in the book. In the book series, Elena would not leave Stefan for anything. She tried everything to stay in his life. On the show, she’s starting to annoy me with the whole back-and-forth “I need you” / “stay away from me”..

I agree. I was so happy….then she saw that damn pic and of course like a crazy woman she flips out instead of “talking about it” and gets in a major accident. Ugh….
