I have read 3 books and I see nothing like the tv series except names of Elena, Stefan and Damon. Elena becomes vampire very early in book, then dies, then returns as an angel(?), then becomes human. Bonnie is a redheaded scary cat. I love the tv series but am disappointed in books. I wanted them to follow books or visa versa.

I don’t like how they went from Elena being a dirty little slut but still good to I’m miss perfect and wonderful. I also don’t like how they changed Elena’s hair from being blonde to brown. Its to much like twilight.

I like both the show and the books. I think that ya Elena is a little too goody two shoes-ish. Allot like Bella..but i loveeee Damon! I think they casted him perfectly. Ian is doing a super job. But i think we need to see more of Elena and Damon time….together. It’s always just Elena and Stefan. Where’s Damon??!!!

I love Elena in the show I cant stand Elena in the book in the beginning because she is just and annoying slut. I think DAMON is more evil in the book then in the show but I love the show more

The book and the television show are slightly different, however it still continues the story line. I am likeing the changes to the show. It suits it very well. The story line it just great. The classic vampires, a love triangle and so much more. It’s just perfect for the television show.

I don’t like it how they change Elena totally. She was like a slut in the book and they changed he to be like bella in twilight.

i dont really like when the shows or movies are COMPLETELY diffrent from their books its ok of course to change some things but at least make the character have the same color hair AND eye color as in the series!!!!!
